Willow

Willow

Willow is a Golden Retriever which is a British breed of retriever dog of medium size. It is characterised by a gentle and affectionate nature and a striking golden coat.

It is commonly kept as a pet and is among the most frequently registered breeds in several Western countries.

It is a frequent competitor in dog shows and obedience trials; it is also used as a gundog, and may be trained for use as a guide dog

Willow loves nothing more than to be around people, she loves to give and receive hugs and is calm in nature whilst still being a lively fun puppy.

Willow likes to get dirty and loves to play in the mud, water or a nice smelly ditch! When Willow is old enough we are hoping she will undertake Therapy Dog training

 

Winnie The Pooh (Winnie)

Winnie The Pooh (Winnie) is a Newfoundland – The Newfoundland is a large working dog. They can be black, brown, grey, or white. Newfoundlands are known for their giant size, intelligence, tremendous strength, calm disposition, love of children and loyalty. They excel at water rescue/lifesaving because of their muscular build, thick double coat, webbed paws, and swimming abilities.

Winnie is not your usual Newfie, she doesn’t like swimming! Winnie loves people she is a very calming and relaxing dog, she can usually be found wherever Elaine is on the farm. 

Winnie & Willow, love their job and give their love freely to whoever would like it, they like to play together and Willow likes to tease Winnie by running circles around her, our students enjoy taking the dogs for walks in the fields or in the woods.
