In horticulture we aim to have lots of working fun!

Throughout the year we grow a variety of plants ranging from vegetables, soft fruits and a mixture of perennial plants and shrubs.

We also plant hanging baskets which we put around the farm in the summer.

Each day we check that all the plants are watered and maintained, we sow seeds, take plant cuttings and check for weeds.

Students help with the planning of what we are going to grow over the year, everybody has lots of great ideas!
