The Friends of Lainey’s Care Farm is a small charitable organisation run by volunteers.

Most of the committee have family members and loved ones who attend the farm, but it is open to anyone who is a friend of the farm!

In partnership with the farm, the organisation runs fundraising events to raise money for ‘extras’ – things that are beyond the scope of the day-to-day business of the farm. These extras include such things as trips for the students, Christmas parties for the students, and funding for the Summer Party and Camp Out.

The Friends of Lainey’s Care Farm also exists to provide a knowledgeable and supportive community of peers, for the parents and carers of Lainey’s students. Coffee mornings, a Christmas Drinks Reception and useful talks about navigating life as a parent or carer are just some of the things the group plans.
